Project Management

We will assign a project manager, field superintendent, drafter and other staff members as required to effectively manage the design process by working one on one with the customer to obtain all the necessary information.

Coordination Process

During the construction of any project, the coordination of the trades is an integral part of the planning process, especially with respect to the framing and masonry. It is important that our drafter and installer obtain all the necessary information before our products start fabrication to consider the variables of the opening, jamb, and structure where our steel doors and windows in Dallas will be installed.

Floor Plan and Opening Evaluation

For a successful fabrication and installation of our steel doors and windows in Dallas, we are get involved in the construction project as a whole. For new construction projects especially, we will review the final floor plans and elevations with the field superintendent and project manager prior to submitting CAD drawings and fabrication.

Shop Drawings and Submittals

Keeping all the information that you share with us firmly in mind, along with floor plans and structure variables, we create a customized Auto-Cad drawing of your project. Our Drafter works along with the project manager to create a scaled drawing of the project to ensure that you understand how your steel doors in Dallas, windows and/or railings will be fabricated. We believe this is the most important step of the entire process.

Cost Reporting

Any additional cost, such as additional hardware, ancillary components as well as rental equipment needed for installation will be summitted to the client for approval.

Design Process

Our Designers work closely with clients (Homeowners, Architects, Builders, Project Managers or Installers), to ensure precise and accurate development of CAD drawings. Using client-provided images and detailed measurements, the designer creates 2D CAD drawings of the project site from which they will custom design and configure the door, window or railing system.

The Ferro Steel Doors’ Team will:

  • Identify and address any potential challenges that may affect the design or installation of your steel window in Dallas, door or railing system
  • Access to in-house engineering
  • Ensure compliance against relevant standards and building codes
  • Verify all measurements are EXACT
  • Review and submit final design drawings for client’s approval

Upon signed final approval, the designer will generate an installation guide and send approved drawings to or plant for fabrication.
